| Vizard Template~!*We all have a persona*!~Name: Gurido, Zeran
Age: 173 years of age.
Visual Age: Appears 17.
Gender: Male
Ex-Division: 10th Division
Personality: The happy-go-lucky kind of person, Zeran prefers to avoid conflict and only enter it if it's to protect someone, spar, or if it‘s a powerful opponent. Curious, Zeran sometimes gets into trouble even though he doesn't want to. Often has a grin on his face, Zeran prefers to hang around with others. He doesn't discriminate without knowing more about a person, unless they are of the Arrancar or Hollow races, which he knows from experience can't be trusted. Despite what others may think of him, Zeran can get awfully serious at times. He gets very annoyed/angry if he is either used against his will or if he's betrayed. Zeran tends to be attracted to females that are tom-boyish, stand up for themselves, and kind. He also prefers a balanced figure on a woman, though does he find those slightly smaller than normal more attractive than those larger than normal.
Appearance: ((Check spoiler for facial features))

As for-legwear, Zeran typically wears a pair of blue or black jeans, though slightly worn, then ending with a pair of tennis shoes. ~Soul: Zeran wears a normal Shinigami uniform, except the ends of the sleeves and leggings usually bound with white bandages, making wind less likely to get in and slow down his movement. ~!*That exploits the burdened weight that lay hidden within*!~Height: 5’11” (180.3 cm)
Weight: 173 lbs. (78.47 kg)
Hair: Raven-black with crimson near the back of his scalp.
Eyes: Azure-Blue, Crimson as he releases his zanpaktou.
Reiatsui Color: Azure-blue.
Reiatsui Power Level: Above Captain-Level

'Storm of Chaos, Stability of Order, Light of Good, Darkness of Evil, Slight of Mind, Creation of Flesh, Manifestation of Soul, All are made of this...'
Younger Soul Arc: Unlike most souls in Soul Society, Zeran was born there, rather than being transferred there after death. Being born in Soul Society, Zeran had a great amount of exposure to high grade reishi since birth, strengthening his own spiritual powers in the process.
Zeran was born in the 13th Section of East Rukongai, where he lived with his father, mother, and his two sisters, both younger than himself, who were adopted by his parents due to appearing suddenly in the Section, all alone with no one to go to.
It was a hard life, but an enjoyable one. Zeran often worked with his father as a carpenter, also learning to use a sword in case bandits from the lower Sections of Rukongai ever made it that close to them.
Elder Soul Arc: Appearing 16 at the time, Zeran was laying near the bank of a river flowing near the 13th Section, just passing the time. However, while laying there, Zeran felt that he was being watched.
As if speaking of the devil, a crash could be heard from behind him, and, turning to see what had happened, Zeran stood agape at the large, green creature in the center of the Section, a bone-white mask covering it's mug. Eyes widening, Zeran noticed the monster turn towards the area where his family were, and he started running to try and reach them in time.
Just as he entered the Section, Zeran saw his family running towards his location. Sprinting to meet them, Zeran was suddenly thrown back many meters when a giant fist landed between him and his family. Finally skidding to a halt after he tumbled a number of times, Zeran looked up, struggling to get up, to see the monster reach for his famliy, who were pretty much in the same shape he was.
"Damn it, Leave...them...ALONE!!!"
As he said this, a crimson aura started to surround him, rising off of his body like steam from water. The monster, its sights now on him, redirected his attention on Zeran, who was still to injured to move, and reached for him. Shrinking away from the giant hand, Zeran saw a sliver blade slice cleanly through the hand, causing an opening just in time to see someone else cutting through the monster's mask, causing it to disappear like an ominous, black mist. The aura finally settling down, Zeran collapsed from exaustion, knowing what was to happen as soon as he awoke.
Shinigami Arc: Zeran entered the shinigami academy like anybody else, excited, foolish, proud, but this would soon be wiped from them as the time went by. However, unlike most in the Academy, he had a purpose, to protect those close to him, where as others either wanted glory, power, and the like.
Progressing quickly, Zeran stood at the top of his class in most of the areas, shunpo and fighting. His reiatsui was also considerably higher than most in the academy had, though it was very destructive and couldn't be controlled easily. It wasn't until Zeran released his zanpaktou that he took control of his reiatsui, though, through its effects, changes could be seen in his appearance.
-------------------------
Graduating after only a year, Zeran had secured a high position in the Gotei Thirteen. He started out a Third-Seat, specifically for the Tenth Division. He didn't stay in this position for long, ascending past that level in only a couple years to reach the position of Captian of the Tenth Division.
Hollowification Arc: Soon after being promoted to Captain, Zeran was sent to investigate a disturbance in the far reaches of Rukongai. Moving to the destined location, Zeran and his team of four others split up and searched for the cause of the disturbance. Moving to what seemed to be the source of the disturbance, Zeran found nothing that would have caused it. Continuing his search, Zeran heard a roar from another direction, where his subordinates had headed.
Quickly reaching the source of the roar, Zeran found all four of his subordinates impaled by long, spear-like shafts. Taken aback, Zeran looked back and forth, searching for the source of reiatsui. His search failing, Zeran gritted his teeth as he looked around carefully. Only as he exhaled did the sound of an spear-like projectile cutting through the air reach his ears. Side-stepping away from the projectile, Zeran turned to see a large hollow-like creature facing him. The only problem, it was more human than any Hollow he had incountered, the mask ripped off, which could only mean it was an Arrancar.
Drawing his zanpaktou, Zeran fought against the Arrancar, his sword and the Arrancar's claws fighting par on par. Only when he had gone into Shikai and the Arrancar into it's ressurection did the battle really heat up. As Zeran finally set the killing blow into the Arrancar, did the man pierce through Zeran's side with one of it's elongated claws. As his opponent evaporated into mist, Zeran attempted to pull the claw out of him, only for the claws to snap and break, probably due to the claws being barbed. Grimacing at his wound, Zeran hurried to the Seireitei to be healed, but, as he reached the fourth division, Zeran suddenly felt an intense pain flowing through his being. As this came to an end, Zeran saw the division members around him surround him so to transport him to surgery.
-------------------------
When Zeran awoke, he was trapped in a cell, his wrists were bound to the wall, making him hardly able to move. Looking through the bars, Zeran saw the Commander, the Captain of the Fourth Division, the Captain of the Second Division, and the Captain of the Twelfth Division. Seeing him awake, the Commander addressed the situation to Zeran. Apparently, the wound in his side had become infected with some type of Hollow poison, which was seeping dark reiatsui into his system. Not knowing what this ment, Zeran was told by the Fourth Division Captain that it was unsure what could really happen. He could die, survive, or even turn into a Hollow. In any option, it was best if he stayed locked up for the moment. Sighing, Zeran allowed it.
As most of them turned to leave, Zeran was left alone with the Captain of the Twelfth Division. Wondering what this was about, Zeran asked why he chose to stay, and the Captain grinned and told him this: That Zeran was a fool, that he had unknowingly played into his hands, and that it had been him that created the Arrancar that had killed Zeran's comrades and infected Zeran. Eyes widening, Zeran yelled in rage, struggling against his chains as the Captain walked away laughing. Zeran kept struggling as the wound in his side broke open, where he collapsed in pain. Gasping for breath, Zeran saw darkness approching from the side of his eyes. In shock, Zeran yelled for help, only to be cut off as white fluid covered the right side of his face. Slacking against wall, Zeran saw the whole world go dark.
-------------------------
-(Insert Epic Battle Here)- -Will add the Inner Battle as a flashback post at a later time....
Vizard Arc: Opening his eyes, Zeran looked around, the Twelfth Division HQ....Perfect. Dispite the 'perfect' situation, Zeran suddenly noticed that there were many wounded shinigami around him, though, strangely enough, no one was dead. Strange....seeming as how they had such wounds. Putting it out of his mind, Zeran stalked towards the HQ.
Entering the frontdoor, Zeran saw shinigami try to attack him, as if they didn't recognize him. Moving quickly, Zeran knocked out all of his opposition. Strangely enough, it was easier than it should have been. Had defeating Degaro given him such power? Ignoring this thought as well, Zeran moved towards a certain reiatsui.
Breaking down the door blocking his way, Zeran strolled into the Captain's chambers, where the Captain just sat calmly, looking back at him with a grin. Gritting his teeth, Zeran grabbed his zanpaktou at his side, drawing it slowly as the man just sat there, looking as if he were the Soul King. Disgusted, Zeran took a step forth, only to be taken aback as the Captain's lieutenant charged at him, sword already released, and reiatsui flowing from her form. Stopping the sword with his own, the opposing blade cracked and gave way in an instant, splintering into many shards. Agast, the lieutenant struck out with her fist, yelling,
"Die, Hollow!!!"
Eyes widening, Zeran watched the lieutenant strike him, only for her to be repelled by his reiatsui, breaking her arm in the process. Only now did he realize that he had no idea how he had gotten to the Twelfth Division HQ, and that he had a bone-white mask on his face. Gritting his teeth, Zeran yelled,
"What did you do to me, damn you!"
This only caused the Captain to laugh histerically at Zeran, as if he had told the funniest joke in the world. Fists shaking with rage, the Captain exclaimed that his work was a success, which made the lieutenant look at her Captain in shock. Unable to contain himself any longer, Zeran charged at the Captain, then decapitating him in a single stroke of his sword. Normally, Zeran would be bewildered that the Captain had not defended himself, but then, Zeran just stood, exhaling heavily as the mask crumbled away from his face. Looking at the lieutenant, Zeran saw her back away from him, clutching her broken arm carefully. Sadly, Zeran turned and walked out of the room, towards the area where gigais were stored. He had killed a Captain, and, regardless of the evidence put in his defense, Zeran would be killed. He had no choice but to leave Soul Society, and leave all that he loved behind.
-------------------------
He had escaped, that much was sure, but that was not to be the end of it. Countless times other shinigami attempted to take his life, but to no avail. In fact, he had actually not killed those that were sent after him, a statement that he wouldn't stoop to their level. These pursuits actually helped quite a bit, helping him learn restraint while taking down powerful opponents, which in turn helped his power grow.
Despite all this training, Zeran felt as though this game had gone on far enough, and, due to that, he went searching for a refuge, where he wouldn't be found by the shinigami. Such a refuge took only a couple months to find, due to more attacks causing him to search more quickly than he would normally.
At last, he finally found his refuge. A few kilometers north of Karakura Town, hidden within the mountains that overlooked the small city, Zeran found a deserted village. At least, it appeared to be deserted. Walking in slowly, Zeran called out in a slight tone, a smile on his face, feeling the presence of the reiatsuis there attempting to be hidden.
"Anybody Home?"

Role-Play Sample:
- Spoiler:
Zeran stood atop one of the many buildings in Karakura, as soft wind current blowing his hair and vest back, the crescent moon in the sky, and the streets below were almost quiet. Key word, ‘almost.’ A lone hollow, the shape of an arachnid, loomed over an innocent human soul, tears streaming down the young girl’s face. Being the benevolent person he was, Zeran wanted to stop the hollow from eating the harmless soul, but if the higher ups, the Espada, heard that he yet again let a human soul go free, he would probably be eaten like how many human souls are by the hollows. Forcing his head to turn away, he heard a loud scream and a crunch as blood splattered an alley wall down below. Letting out a depressing sigh, Zeran heard another sound, a blade being freed from its sheath. Looking back down at the hollow, he watched as a black garbed shinigami cut straight through the hollow’s mask. Putting a sad smile on his face, Zeran knew the soul of the girl had been freed from the void known as hollow, though, the hollow being his kin (sort of), he felt sad at the same time. Turning his back on the scene for the last time, Zeran snapped his fingers as a portal known as a Gargantua opened before him. Stepping through the portal, he headed for his home of Hueco Mendo, and his house of Las Noches.
Walking out from the Gargantua, Zeran peered out at the looming desert, the crescent moon shining here as well, over the pure white sands, though a few small trees could be spotted here and there. Finally, he turned his head to the large domed palace across the sands, Las Noches. Starting his walk towards it, Zeran pondered about what he had seen in Karakura.
The cycle was endless really. A hollow ate a human soul, then a Shinigami would eventually purify the hollow and all the souls it had devoured would go to soul society, where some may become Shinigami. In another case however, a hollow would survive long enough to grow, and eventually merge with other hollow into a Menos. Sighing, he scratched the back of his head in annoyance. Dwelling over this would just get him into trouble with the higher ups again. Walking for only a few minutes more, Zeran tired of the stroll and Sonidoed towards the palace.
Appearing atop the dome of Las Noches, Zeran turned outwards at the seemingly endless sands. After a few moments, he stepped off the side of the dome, fell downward toward the ground, and finally landed in front of the entrance to the palace. Scratching at the back of his head, he pushed the door open with his free hand and entered the corridors. Every step brought an echo which faded further down while the dim lights casted a faint shadow in his wake.
Turning to another corridor, Zeran neared his quarters, a lone Arrancar standing in his way. Stopping, Zeran looked at the Arrancar neutrally, while the other looked at him with spite and a cruel grin. “Well if it isn’t the little human lover,” the Arrancar sneered. This Arrancar had been a nuisance to him ever since he had set foot in these walls, though Zeran had easily surpassed him in level and status. It seemed as though he existed only to annoy him, but, what really edged the Arrancar on, was that Zeran never did anything in response other than blasting him with a few balas, though they were so restrained that they only threw him back, not harm him, though it did tick him off big time.
Starting to walk again towards his room, the Arrancar put his arm in Zeran’s way, making him halt once again. The Arrancar leaned towards him, a frown on his face. “Save any humans or Shinigami today?” Zeran just sighed and Sonidoed around him and walked into his room, shutting the door behind him. Once again, that idiot had managed annoyed him, and most likely it would happen again. It seemed that even the Arrancar’s presence even started to annoy him.
Sighing, Zeran made toward the cabinets and opened the hatch. Scanning over the contents, Zeran picked up a cup of instant ramen. Taking the required time to make the noodles, Zeran patiently ate the finished dish. Why no other Arrancar ate like this was beyond him. After finishing, Zeran touched the mask fragment on his head. He was somewhat saddened by the fact that eating human food didn’t reduce his hunger, his annoying hunger for souls and hollows, though he had to admit it tasted good. Sighing, Zeran turned to a knocking at his door. Whoever it was definitely came at the wrong time. Stepping towards the door, a dark malicious voice spoke out, “Knock, Knock…”
Almost immediately after the voice spoke, the door burst open, and a quad of Adjudas Arrancar rushed at him. Eyes widening, Zeran sonidoed up into the air, pulling a strange-looking mask from a pocket in his vest simultaneously. How could Hollow manage to get into Las Noches? Unless… Looking at the door way, Zeran spotted the Arrancar grinning from ear to ear who had just gone too far. Dodging the Adjudas with another sonido, Zeran spoke from midair, anger finally reaching his voice, “I hope you’re enjoying this, Jaz, because it’s the last bit of fun you’ll have as an Arrancar, ever again.”
Finally putting the mask on his face, Zeran let his Reiatsui flare up, though both his ability and the mask stopped it from being detected, not even by the hollow or Jaz. Lowering his arm from the mask, Zeran looked up at one of the Adjudas falling towards him, a ravenous hunger in its amber eyes. Jumping up to meet it, Zeran unleashed a roundhouse kick to the Hollows head, another to its chest, and then an axe kick onto its back. Watching the Hollow fall to the ground unconscious, Zeran looked straight forward and sonidoed backwards and behind two more Adjudas. As the Adjudas turned to meet him, Zeran poured his Reiatsui into his hands and pierced straight through both of the Hollows’s heads. Letting their bodies evaporate, Zeran ducked below the last Hollow and drew his Zanpakto. Turning swiftly, he thrust his Zanpakto into the hollows abdomen, and slashed upwards through the head.
As the last Hollow fell, Zeran turned around to face Jaz, who already had his Zanpakto drawn and was now speaking his release, “Rise, Basilisco!” A dark mist started pouring from his being, his body becoming scaled, his hair now red, and his pupils turned to slits. With the final changes being the long tail and a carnivorous jaw, Jaz looked at Zeran with a determined blood lust. The Reiatsui was strong for a Numero, but it was still weak compared to him. Pointing his Zanpakto at Jaz, Zeran disappeared from Jaz’s sight. Appearing behind him, Zeran swung downwards at Jaz’s shoulder, only for Jaz to sonido as well. Turning to meet him, Zeran blocked one of Jaz’s hands with his Zanpakto, and then grabbed him by the neck with his free hand, and swung him around into a wall. Struggling fiercely, Jaz tried to claw his way out of Zeran’s hold, only to find his attacks were leaving no mark on Zeran’s hierro, increased as it was by his dense Reiatsui.
Sighing, Zeran focused his Reiatsui into his palm, a faint blue light coming from it. Slowly, the light turned darker, into a bold navy. Jaz’s eyes started to widen as he realized what was coming. Now, he opened his mouth to form a Cero of his own, but Zeran placed his other hand over Jaz’s mouth, stopping the forming Cero. With his own finished charging, Zeran spoke, “Farewell, Jasper.”
The blast pierced through the wall and out the dome of Las Noches, a low bass sound emanating from it. The upper body of the Arrancar incinerated to nothingness, the lower torso and legs of Jasper Kusaru fell to the ground below, disappearing into dark reishi and the souls from the vessel drifted into the abyss, towards the Soul Society. Sighing, Zeran placed his hand over his mask, removing it slowly as his Reiatsui diminished. How in the world was he to explain this to the higher Espada now? Turning to look at the unconscious Hollow behind him, Zeran licked his lips. Sadly, a thought crossed his mind. I guess it’s time for dinner… He slowly walked over to the hollow, and his meal. ~!*The clock starts to move again, and the pendulum resets....Begin*!~
