Sealed Description:
A pair of katana that look similar to those in the picture (41.5 in. overall, 29.5 in. blade, 11 in. handle). The sheaths are a black sheen, where the tops of the sheaths are wrapped in white bandages, while the ends are capped with bronze. These are often worn at Zeran’s left side, kept in place by his sash, or on his back, held in place with bandages.

Shikai Description: The Shikai can be released with either one or both Zanpaktou bare. When unsealed, the blades and hilts elongate a couple inches (44 in. overall, 31 in. blade, 12 in. handle), as well as becoming much wider, about double the norm. About these swords azure flames spiral about the swords' blades. These flames also follow the trail of the swords and only surround them only when Zeran activates them. This is discussed more in the Shikai ability. Also, Zeran's irises turn a crimson red, but for what reason, is unknown.

Bankai Description:
Shikaku Okami [Assassin Emperor]: Zeran's Bankai can only be released when both blades are drawn and released. When Zeran initates Bankai, the azure flames from his swords start to spread and whirl around Zeran like a vortex. When the flames have dispersed, Zeran's zanpaktou have elongated (54 in. overall, 38 in. blade, 15 in. handle), widened, and thickened. However, this is not all he gains. In addition to his two original swords, Zeran has a total of six swords, all alike, and two floating behind each shoulder (will be explained why in the ability). Also, each of these swords have opennings in the ends of their handles, allowing them to be joined in that location. Also, Zeran gains a pair of open-handed, steel gauntlets, a pair of greaves, a pair of shoulder guards, and a tasset, each a slightly-dull silver, while each that covers his upper body is over a black trenchcoat, w/ a cowl and hood. In addition to all this, Zeran's Bankai includes a series of crimson, flame-like symbols that cover the top of his arms, underneath his eyes, his back, the outer sides of his legs, and the palms of his hands. All these symbols seem to fold over whatever covers Zeran's skin, usually just clothes and the armor he wears.

Shikai Ability: Zeran's Shikai ability focuses on the azure flames that surround his zanpaktou. The only ignition point for these flames are the swords, causing them to be centered around them. However, this doesn't mean they can't be spread and controlled. These flames are infused with Zeran's reiatsui, which means that only he can control them, unless repulsed by a greater force. However, these flames can spread farther than could be able to control. The maximum range of manipulation is about 20-25 feet from his swords, but he can do alot with the limited space he does have. This includes creating barriers, compressed enough to be near-physical (Though it is easier to get through than completely solid barriers), and attacking with creative and unpredictable attacks (The unpredictable part isn't really true, but that's how Zeran thinks of it). These flames burn at about 200°C (Approx. 400°F), able to inflict burns onto the opponent. The flames will also sear wounds shut when they come in contact with open wounds, making a fresh scar. However, searing a wound is only a couple layers of flesh, and since it tightens around that part of the body, then it can't go far without breaking, which makes these wounds unable to take much movement.

Bankai Ability: Zeran's Bankai ability is pretty much an enhanced version of his Shikai ability. The main differences are the increase in temperature, now burning at 400°C (Approx. between 750-800°F), the range of manipulation increasing to about 45-50 feet from his swords, that flames enter into the swords of Zeran's Bankai, allowing him to manipulate them freely as he wishes within his allowed manipulation range, and that Zeran can now produce flames from his entire being. This is enabled due to both the armor and the glyphs/symbols that cover his form.

Inner World: Zeran's innerworld is somewhat like a port town, with a harbor on the edge of the sea. In this area, a pair of islands can be seen, one with a large lighthouse, though not lit, due to it being twilight/dusk. The houses in the port are old Europian, and the lighthouse, which can be reached by going over the water by flight or boat, is similar to the tower that used to stand in Alexandria. The area surrounding the town is a desert, with seemingly no end, and a river, that leads up to, and connects to the sea.

Zanpaktou Spirit Persona: Shikaku, or rather Aki, is calm and kindhearted, despite her elemental family. However, she desperitly hates her real name, so, ever since Zeran became aware of her, she has 'forced' him to use Aki for her name ever since, except to release, due to her real name having power. Apparently, she likes the name due to it being her favorite season (Autumn/Fall). It is very difficult to anger Aki, but, when she's finally angered, then her temper becomes enormous and it usually takes a battle to calm her down. She enjoys ramen just as much as Zeran, and likes playing go or shogi with him in their spare time (usually done through manifestation). Zeran and Aki's relationship is a brother-sister one, causing a love-hate relationship between the two of them.
