The Arrival part 2

Alejandro arrived to such monstrosity: an almost war torn town that was ripped to shreds by the hollows. event hose of menos level appeared, most notably, the menos grande. They kicked, punched, and used cero to obliterat lives that were on the surface. It was full of roaring and the sky was dark gray and the clouds were black. The garganta that connected Karakura town to the forest of menos had produced this result: a new home for hollows. There seem to be makeshift caves and huts for some hollows that chose to rest and didn't feel like being bothered.

Alejandro appeared with his cero team, which consisted of three arrancar that were gifted in ways of using cero proficiently. These weren't the only members, but they were enough for now. Alejandro sighed at the completely hollowfied Karakura Town. He left it alone for almost a month and this has happened..speaking of which, the fight between Vlad and Methias lasted that long? Maybe he lost track of time, but he wouldn't know. What he did know that Karakura town was no more. No heroes, no nothing. This town was finished..it belonged to the humans no more. There was a name someone named a state of hollowfication over a town or area that was vastly large..it was called..


"Segunda Hueco Mundo. It has a beautiful ring to it."

A garganta opened just beside Alejandro, an abundance of square shapes forming in the sky to reveal the Segunda Espada, Methias. Stepping from the Garganta, he glanced across the new plains of Karakura, or what use to be Karakura anyway. It was dark. Lifeless, full of the death and chaos that each Arrancar embodied. Every reason of death could be seen as the abundance of hollowific figures walked around the once called streets below them. Allejandro's name for the place was indeed fitting. It was almost a perfect copy of where they had come from, Heuco Mundo, the land that the Hollows ruled. However, just as things were now, it was simply chaos. Nothing more, nothing less.

Running a finger through his long silver hair, Methias revealed his dark rimmed, red eye's to the world, a gaze of death continuing to look across the area. Just a single breath allowed those there to smell the stentch of death lingering in the air like a bad odour. But to those akin to the Espada, it smelt like heaven. His ears could hear the amazing sound of Hollow's roaring as loud as their bodies allowed them to. Soon, more Menos Grande would be formed, even more than what was their already. From those, Adjuchas, and from those... Well, Methias could only assume that was part of the greatest plan the Espada could have ever come up with. The very thought of more Vasto Lorde such as himself left him with a huge grin on his face... He could almost taste the excitement.

Turning to face Alejandro, he couldn't seem to notice anything different in his posture. Surely things had gone exactly as they were planned, and because of this, Methias simply nodded in approval as they awaited the Cero Espada's arrival.

Overtop the remains of what once was Karakura Town, the dimensional fabric separating the living world and the world of the hollow tore open, revealing a black tunnel of whirling, torrential energy within the sky. Around the edges of the pathway, there were jagged fringes surrounding the monstrous dimensional road. The skies tattered and twisted, as if they were a mere piece of cloth. Soon after, that tunnel solidified into a passageway as a garganta opened ten feet below of both Methias and Alejandro. Subsequent to that, a low-pitched noise rumbled throughout the air, resonating with an additional, higher pitched sound roaring into the area. This noise was followed by a pressure familiar to anyone spiritually aware. It was a heavy force, not unlike strong gravity, identifiable as the presence exerted by one with Great Spirit energy, spiritual pressure. That particular reiatsu was a great deal reminiscent to Captain level spiritual pressure, as it held similar strength to a Captain’s, but with one difference. It was a violent, yet refined, fear inspiring presence, definitely not one to be tangled with lest the perpetrator wish to be dismembered.

From the portal, garganta, a single male Arrancar stepped into the sky, hands place neatly in each respective pocket. He appeared to be around his mid twenties, with milky white skin and hair, bright red pupils and pink irises, a white bone like fragment on the left potion of his cheek with animistic teeth lining the side that extends over the entire half of his cheek, curving up toward his left eye. This man had a look terrifying that would make even the sickest of killers cower in fear, having hardened features, dark, violent eyes, and a constant frown. His attire a long, mandarin-style Arrancar jacket, black sash, white hakama, and black and white boots. Walking forward several feet by using solidified reiatsu as a platform, he, the Decima Espada, looked out at the result of their earlier venture into the human world. Decima Espada, the weakest of the Espada, and yet so strong, he held a secret only those of the Arrancar knew of, that he was, in fact, also the Cero Espada.

“… Pitiable, humanity is even more pathetic than they were four thousand years ago. At least then, they stabbed each other in the back. Now, they cannot even rise a shield or sword to defend against a simple attack.”

Those words slipped off his tongue, sending a shrill that echoed through the air.

Alejandro had looked below him with a smile. A vital member of the Espada had appeared..with all of these hollows, there's only one thing Alejandro thought of. He grew a large grin upon his face.

"Shishigami..there are more than a few hundred menos level hollows..You know what to do, don't you?"

He asked an obvious question. It was going to be a repeat of lasst time that caused great havoc and destruction to karakura town.

"While that's going on, I'm going to head towards the only place that doesn't seem destroyed: "Karakura Town High School". I'm going to investigate and see if there are any survivors..you two hold down Segunda Hueco Mundo as if it was all you have left. Defend it with your life.."

He said before vanishing with a sonido.

(My apologies for skipping turn order, Meth, but I wanted to type this while I could, while I had the drive, and before we get Shinigami gnawing on our asses, trying to kill us. Also, I assume what is in my post is what you were referring to Alejandro. I hope so.)


Shishi simply glances out of the corner of his eye at Alejandro as he spoke. The Primera asked him if he knew what to do, a question that went unanswered due to the fact Alejandro had already left the area, and because Shishi knew exactly what was required of him. If an Espada of his caliber were to release their Resurrecion, the result would break the Menos’ mask and transform them into Arrancar. That is a simple enough concept to understand, all of it was as clear as the blue sky, but even so, an unknown factor remained. Angry, Shishi began to consider this uncertainty, and prepared himself for whatever could happen next. Although better known for being a violent, angry tyrant who is full of rage and shows no mercy to anything, Shishi is an incredible strategist and tactician. It is this remarkable trait, coupled with his amazing instincts that allow him to notice oddity around him and his comrade Methias. Who would think a megalomaniac, cold to almost everyone, would actually be intelligent. Where were the other races?

Where were they indeed? It is all very fishy, considering the last time around the Quincy showed up to face them, and even still, it was unusual that was all. According to the last visit Shishi had taken to the world of the living, before the Quincy killing even, quite a few spiritual beings made Karakura Town their home. The Bountou were said to have been lurking about, and he knew the Vizard were there, and then there were the Shinigami who, until recently, had been locked off from returning to the world of the living. The biggest mystery yet was the fact they did not attempt to stop the destruction. This could only mean one thing; someone was preparing an assault, watching, and waiting for the right moment to strike. In any good strategy, one must wait for the correct moment to make their move. Otherwise, unexpected things might happen. As dishonorable as it may seem, two combatants against one was an efficient plan, as was attacking with everything one has, then sending in reinforcements to finish the job. If a person really wanted somebody dead, that person would whittle down the opponent, and then swoop in for the kill. At least, this is how he reasoned it. Alas, it was time to begin what needed to be done.

The wind velocity greatly uplifted when an immense amount of light sky blue reiatsu and reiryoku started pouring off Shishi. His power reached the peaked in sealed form, symbolized by the bright blue glow in both his eyes, and now it was time to take it even higher. The anger, the rage, all he felt became nearly palpable in the air. To Shishigami Jubei, even the noise surrounding him was an annoyance, a mere pest to be destroyed. Thoughts of those idiotic humans who betrayed him over four millennia ago, when he was still a human being, rolled through his mind and continued fueling his rage. Grasping one hand on each hilt of his blades, the Decima Espada unsheathed the Wakizashi and Katana, holding them up into the air. Tilting the Wakizashi sideways, and the Katana overhead, the longer blade swung down upon the shorter one.

The instant both swords collided, an angry shout full of rage echoed throughout the air, “Wail! Podenco de Fantasma!”

In that moment, both sealed blades shattered into nothingness, and the air became stiff with an eerie black and purple reiatsu. Shortly after, black and purple spiritual energy expanded out over a much larger area, coming to one focus point, Shishi’s body. A magnificent presence unraveled, as the black and purple reiatsu and reiryoku spiraled around the Decima Espada’s entire body, cloaking him from all sight. Whirling up to the clouds, down to the ground, and left and right, the rapidly rotating black and purple mass compressed itself to a humanoid size. Just then, a clawed hand thrust out from the side of the mass, and from another angle, an animalistic tail shot out. Feral growling echoes through the air, as a massive howling blew away the mass, dissipating it, and sending powerful shockwaves of air pressure from the force. In the middle of the commotion stood Shishi, his Espada roman numeral now a zero, signifying the rebirth of the Cero Espada.

Because of his release, the Menos level hollow, along with the lesser ones, became Arrancar by the breaking of their mask. Not just that, most of them was complete as well. This was most likely because the force generated by his release this time, was much greater than the time before due to his rage. He completed his task skillfully; all it took to set things into motion was a simple sentence.

Truly, a frightening release, Shishi became feral and animalistic, taking on an even more violent appearance. His fingernails turned into incredibly strong claws, and then retracted into ordinary nails. His teeth were as a beast, growing out into sharp points like a canine. His pupils extended vertically and horizontally, becoming something akin to the shape of a cross, while his scleras are now black.

The part of his uniform that covers the upper half of his body disappeared into thin air, while soft, light brown fur covered his entire upper body besides his neck and face. There are patches of odd green fur all over the brown fur. His fur has black zigzag markings all over it, and he grew three thick tails that are each nine feet long with the same zigzag markings as his fur on them. He gained a pair of pointy dog-ears on top of his head, but also kept his humanoid ears as well. His hollow mask remains meld into his face, becoming a part of it and are practically nonexistent.

“Methias … Prepare yourself, there is no doubt in my mind we shall receive company very soon.”

The Cero Espada coldly stated, turning his attention toward the Senguda. His mere presence was astounding to behold, like being crushed by the water pressure of the ocean floor.

And so the events had begun. Each moment passing by simply saw more destruction on the previously known Karakura town. The sound of chaos ringed in Methias' ears, almost heavenly, or what he considered heavenly anyway. An oddity, some might consider his warped tastes, but to a Hollow, no, an Arrancar, death and despair were all part of the enjoyment of living. His eye's scanning across the beauty beneath him once more, he let out a light laugh, before turning to Alejandro. His orders spoken swiftly, the scene was eventually left with just the Segunda and Decima espada left to do what had to be done. The Decima's release would shatter all those Menos' masks, creating an army of Arrancar in mere moments. The sheer destructive power was something that all the Espada envied, yet very few were lucky enough to see it. However, today was Methias' lucky day, as Shishigami spoke a few select words, before clashing his weapons together. It was the start of something truly amazing.

And with that, he watched as the Decima's form changed into that of a truly monsterous beast. It began with the black and purple reiatsu swirling around his body, the power initially being released already being considered frightening by most. Shortly after the release had finished, Methias simply gazed with a strike of awe at the newly found beast. Not a single word could truly describe the new form, other than frightening. The very thought of fighting him made those whom he was allied with glad it was the case, and the enemies drop the their knees. The spiritual power he could produce was said to rival that of the Shinigami's Captain Commander, if not surpass it. Magnificient.

Before another moment had passed, Shishigami Jubei looked towards Methias, suggesting to prepare for battle. It appeared he too agreed with Methias' thoughts, that this was all too easy. Very minimal resistance in one of the earth's most spirtually powerful area's seemed, to say the least, a huge setup. But what kind of fools would allow this to happen? Were they really that strong that the enemy had to wait for the single moment where they were at their weakest? A truly pathetic ideal. However, not one to ignore any advice, he simply nodded at the now Cero Espada, before drawing his blade from his back, and holding it at his side.

"Levante el vuelo Angel De La Luz" He spoke in a calm tone, yet the sentence seemed to ring off of his tongue like a well designed opera. It was almost angelic, yet harnessed but a hint of malice in the words spoken. As he spoke these simple words, a smirk grew on face, the blade that was once in his right hand being taken into the wind, shards breaking off it glowing in a bright white color. As the blade seemed to fade, it swirled around Methias, a like-colored ball forming around him, the light being almost blinding to look at. It almost appeared as if a star was plummeting into Karakura town, as the glow grew brighter and brighter, until reaching a peak in which it shattered once more, revealing the new and improved Methias inside.

His release was but a strange one. He still retained his humanoid state, infact, he looked even more human than he did before he released. The bottom half of his clothing remained the same, long white pants, hanging loosely, in a comforting yet practical way. Above where pocked would have been thought to have been, large pieces of what could be described as looking like Zebra-skin hung from his shirt. The bodily armor he wore seemed to be a continuation of the Zebra-skin looking fabric he had on his pants, yet it appeared a lot more armor like, silver shoulderplates grafted onto him offering defense from attacks directed at his neck and arms. His feet and hands, however, held Methias' one true weapon. Gauntlets and Footguards. These shared the same silver tone as his shoulder-pads, yet looked incredibly volatile, something you wouldn't want to be hit with. His hair was even longer in this state, although it currently didn't cover his face like his pre-released state, instead being tidied and more appropriate infront of people. Finally, he had two, huge and angelic wing sprouting from his back, aswell as his hollow how now being visible at his stomach. This was the Angel of Light, the warrior of Las Noches.

Now prepared, he simply nodded at Shishigami, his released state now being revealed to the outside world. His spiritual pressure was hidden to those around him, making him appear weaker than he actually was. The reason behind this was his "Aura" ability. Using it now would only cease to decrease Shishigami's power, and it was inevitable whenever he unleashed his Reiatsu that it would appear. Letting the Cero Espada take the lead, he awaited orders, and the so-called inevitable attack that was soon to come.

Hyroku was a vagabond that happened to come across Karakura Town after such a long time. He could feel such tremendous spiritual pressure. This made him a bit angry, yet, anxious and excited. He sensed two people out of all the hollows and arrancar in the area...these two people were almost ungodly. The sky was dark..and what used to be Karakura town might as well be called the new world of hollows. He rose to the sky as some hollows that saw and sensed him looked up at him and just growled and roar. He appeared about several yards away infront of Shishigami, who was pumping out tons of reiatsu from his release. His right eye twitched..

"W-Wow..you're a pretty strong guy."

Hyroku's inner hollow spoke, responding to the comment.

"Are you serious? When do you plan on dying?"

Hyroku replied.

"Who said I was gonna die?"

His inner hollow spoke once more.

"Don't you feel that spiritual pressure? Then again..they may have more power than you, but their battle experience, fighting IQ, techniques, speed, and intelligence are all very pending factors that have yet to be found out. You may have a tactical advantage over them..but c'mon now..do you really think that with all of that, you could still beat them? I'm sure you know that there's only one way to do so..or rather two if you pick option one..I know you know what I'm talking about.."

Zaiken had finally stepped into the conversation.

"Don't worry, Hyroku From what we've seen, these arrancar are responsible for what's happening. If the one we're standing infront of is responsible for creating arrancar just by mere spiritual pressure..then it isn't going to be easy."

Hyroku sighed..

"Well..are you two ready?"

Zaiken and his inner hollow nodded within his inner world. Then..all three of them shouted one word simutaneously.

"GO!!!"

He instantly donned his mask and released his zanpaktou after unsheathing it. "Rise, ZAIKEN!"

His nodachi turned into an okatana that glowed sky blue and violet from the reiatsu it released. With his enhanced speed and strength, he could at least compete with these Espada for a short while. He flew for Shishigami, performing a shunpo to appear infront of him and performed a horizontal slash at the waist. His intent was to kill, augmented by the surfacing of his hollowfication.

The Senguda appeared to have the same thought in mind concerning the situation he and Shishi currently found themselves in the middle. Preparing himself for combat, Methias also released his Resurrecion, to which Shishi paid no heed. After all, it was uncharacteristic of the man to pay attention to anything extra, things deemed nonsensical to him. He was a no nonsense kind of person and anything short of that just did not happen. So staring in awe, or even glancing over to his comrade was out of the question. It seemed they must wait for something to happen in order to carry on with the plan, but it also seemed something else was about to happen, something unexpected, just as he originally thought. This uncertainty came in the form of a mysterious man, who proceeded to release his Zanpakutou and don what appeared to be a hollow mask. Right on the mark, Shishi’s prediction indeed has come true. His sixth sense is finely honed, and his instinct came close to precognition. He knew something would occur, just not what, exactly.

This person proved quite fast, his speed even greater wearing that mask, but even as he uses Shunpo, Shishi can still follow his movements. As the man appeared in front of Shishi, slashing horizontally at his waist, the Cero Espada responds by flinging his right hand forward with great force and speed. During that, his fingernails became incredibly strong claws, extending out to a full foot long, blocking the O’katana as if the claws were a blade. Truth be told, these claws are even stronger than his sealed Zanpakutou is, not to mention far sharper as well. After blocking the attack, Shishi appeared behind the man almost instantly using a quick Sonido, his left hand outreached to the fellows back. Just then, a massive amount of reiatsu quickly gathered to the palm, forming into a large, dense orb, and then firing out as a massive purple and black cero. It was a thirty feet wide and high, and extraordinarily power. There were but feet between the two, the short distance made the cero more devastating. This was just the beginning, merely a test for the fight to come.

Hyroku's eyes widened as he looked over his right shoulder only to be enveloped by an extremely large and powerful cero. The result is a large explosion upon contact. The area thundered and echoed from the attack after it made contact. As the smoke clears, a glowing entity seemed to emerge. Hyroku seemed to have an armor of reishi that took on the appearance of a large, humanoid scorpion with the same style of armor that brandished a sword similiar to a shikai released zanpaktou.

This body of reishi acts as an extendable body, and even armor. This was his inner hollow in the form of reishi. It could mimic his movements or do as it pleased. This very armor had protected Hyroku from the cero for the most part. Hyroku suffered from the force of the cero, having a large bruise on his back. However, since he was using his hollow powers, it wasn't as bad to take the hit. He turned around, glowing green and purple from the armor. The blade the inner hollow had was about six meters. He spoke in unison with his inner hollow.

"Wow..that was some attack. But frankly, it wasn't enough to kill me. Now take this!"

His zanpaktou glows bright white as a egyptian pyramid shaped barrier formed around the Cero Espada. Since he touched his zanpaktou, this special ability activated. The barrier adapted to the espada's spiritual pressure, making it impossible to escape by him alone. With that said, Hyroku executed his attack.

"Howaido Sekkan!"

He shouted as the pyramid began to implode with such devastating force that was proportional to the Cero Espada's from all over. He wondered how the Espada would escape.His inner hollow spoke.

"You see? You would've died if I hadn't showed up."

Zaiken also spoke.

"You really think that's important right now? You weren't able to protect him fully anyway, you slacker.."

Shishi was but a being born of instinct, attacking anything ruthlessly until he annihilates whatever it is completely. Nothing becomes an exception to that fact, not the Espada, and not this man before him. The Cero Espada was a warrior first, a monster second, and a king third. When the cero hit its target, Shishi watched on, preparing to continue his assault on the man regardless of whether or not he survived. However, things changed as the smoke cleared, revealing a glowing entity that seemed to have armor with the appearance of a large, humanoid scorpion. This man survived the cero, but before Shishi could act, the man had already initiated his own attack. An Egyptian pyramid shaped barrier formed around him and began to implode with devastating force. Not naïve or inexperienced in battle, Shishi knew there was no way to escape it, and only one way to negate it.

A vizard, a half-breed, this person had caught the Cero Espada in a rough position, but unfortunately for the Vizard, Shishi had just such a weapon needed to escape.
The instant the implosion began, Shishi did not move one inch, muttering one, single word.

=Caja=

Instantly, Shishi’s body glows an ominous black color, complete with a dark aura, as a square box of Darkness forms around him, before extending outward nine feet. Holding pure annihilative power, the Box had enough firepower to destroy an entire continent, and therefore met the implosion head on with equal power, effectively negating it. After moving outward nine feet, the box dissipates completely, and without a trace leftover. Only smoke drifting through the air remained, a consequence of the two great forces colliding. The entire attack was finished after one-third a second. It was draining, that technique, and because of how consuming it is, he never uses it more than twice within the span of one battle. Wasting no time after the assault against him negated, seconds after actually, Shishi counter attacked by pointing out his right finger and firing two enormous, powerful bala toward the vizard, one at each shoulder. Following the bala, he immediately darted forward, toward the vizard with impressive speed, head on. Holding out his right hand, a heavily decorated black sword appeared into it, which is reminiscent to a medieval blade.

In mid movement, Shishi used a sonido to get directly in front of the vizard, slashing the black blade at across his body, from the left area of his waist, to his right shoulder.

=Methias, stay out of this. This is fight between warriors. I will have no interference, do so and I will consider you my adversary.=

Shishi spoke, loud enough for the Senguda to hear him. The words were unusual for him, the fact he spoke at all during a fight was odd.

=You, vizard, what is your name?=

The Cero Espada asked. He was particularly fond of sword fights, no matter how much of a tyrant, how much of an angry man he was, that never changed.

Hyroku had braced himself as the Cero Espada came out, UNHARMED. He noticed some fatigue setting in as he shot two large bala from his finger. His speed was so immense, he appeared infront of Hyroku before the bala reached him to attack diagonally. The vizard had stopped the blade with his zanpaktou with one hand as the inner hollow locked the arrancar's blade with one hand with his weapon. Hyroku summoned two blades of highly condensed kido energy, one for him and the inner hollow to grasp in their free hands. They both stabbed at various spots on the arrancar's body: the stomach and the right shoulder from upclose. He summoned four more swords. Two of them were summoned behind the arrancar to deflect the bala, andn two more appeared at the arrancar's waist, one one each side with the point pointing at the hip. The other two swords that deflected the blade flipped vertically in place to slice down the back of the arrancar. Perhaps he wouldn't be able to land a scratch on this arrancar had it not been for his inner hollow, but he's pumping out all the reiatsu he could to make at least some type of scratch appear.

Shishi had prepared himself to make a counter attack or dodge if the need arose, but when his blade was both blocked and locked into place, he knew it was pointless to struggle freeing it now. To make matters worse, the Vizard had summoned a blade each for him and his inner hollow to use. On his left, free hand, Shishi’s fingernails became three-foot razor sharp claws. When the vizard and his inner hollow stabbed at various spots all over Shishi’s body, most notably the stomach and right shoulder, he parried several of these blows to the side with his claws, up and down, left and right, using pure speed and the appropriate power. He continued to block and parry each blow sent toward him. Despite this, he purposely let one of the vizard’s stabs pierce his right shoulder, and as it dug into his hierro, Shishi brought his hand up around the blade, holding it in place with an extra tight grip.

Two more swords were summoned by the vizard, at Shishi’s waist, pointing at his hip. The moment these swords appeared, two of Shishi’s tails quickly slithered around beside them, as two immensely destructive burst of dark energy in the shape of a lance fired out, destroying the two sword aimed for his hip, effectively stopping them. While that was happening, the Cero Espada’s third tail moved around to his back, where another set of two swords were about to slice down his back. Before that could happen, a burst of dark energy was fired from Shishi’s tail, destroying one of the blades, and the other slashed down Shishi’s back, causing a half-shallow wound due to the damage being reduced by his hierro. This was the Espada’s victory, for the vizard had made a fatal mistake in touching him with his blade, still locked tightly between his hand. Now his technique could take root, one powerful enough to turn the tide of battle.

He muttered, opening his mouth as a wave of darkness with reiatsu erupts from the mouth, cloaking the area in darkness. The effects required his opponent to touch him using any form of contact, and then the darkness in the area can produce spiritual pressure to focus around the foe, completely immobilizing them as this technique analyzes the foes power and produces enough spirit energy to restrain them. With this, the vizard would not be able to move, and Shishi was free to attack. One of Shishi’s tails to the front of the vizard’s chest area, as an immensely destructive ultra dense burst of dark energy in the shape of a massive pike fired from it. The burst was aimed to put a hole through his chest, take out his entire abdominal area, and destroy his heart, along with whatever organs were in the way, it was certainly large enough to do so. Shishi’s second tail moved to the vizard’s left leg, firing out a second burst of dark energy in the form of a thin blast, aimed to dismember the leg.

The third tail moved toward the inner hollow, firing out an immensely destructive ultra dense burst of dark energy in the shape of a pike toward its upper half. Meanwhile, Shishi opened his mouth as black and purple reiatsu formed into an orb, and then blasting out into a thirty-foot wide and high cero at the inner hollow. The Cero Espada’s wounds leapt with steam, signifying that their regeneration process had begun. He was probably the only Espada with the power of high-speed regeneration, after all.

Hyroku couldn't move because of this sudden technique the arrancar activated, which used his own spiritual pressure to restrain the movements of Hyroku. The tails had shot blasts toward the leg, upper abdomen, and the inner hollow. However, the inner hollow had swung towards the bottom right with a spin, swinging Hyroku down with him as he flew towards the ground with increadible speed. One of the blasts had scroched the chest of the inner hollow along with the cero..the inner hollow disappeared after being left behind. Before Hyroku hit the ground, the inner hollow reemerged from his body as an overshadow, meaning he appeared from behind, and crashed into the ground with nothing but a few scratches, but he yelled in pain because of the earlier bruises he got.

Though paralyzed, his limbs moved in proper order. Hyroku seemingly stood up...why you ask? His inner hollow worked as an extendable body of reishi. He could be used as an outer body to help him move, in other words..but his hollow was in control, now that he was in a weakened state..his mask began to envelop over his entire head as black and red veins of reishi. His heart began to beat fast..and there was an odd widening of the scorch on the chest that progressively expanded into a hole. His inner hollow spoke to Hyroku.

"You know once time is up, you'll die.."

Hyroku spoke to his inner hollow inside his inner world with a darkened voice.

"I know.."

His inner hollow spoke again.

"And so, you also know that you have one option left..if you don't wanna die..correct?"

Hyroku spoke again.

"I know.."

Zaiken interrupted..well he was a bit late for that.

"You sure you want to do this? You won't be able to use kido anymore. You'll turn into a monster."

Hyroku's voice suddenly brightened with a grin.

"...I know..."

Hyroku's body suddenly exploded with spiritual pressure. His shinigami stride and powers were beginning to vanish as the view to his body was cut off from the world. A dome of spirit energy appeared, expanded by a meter per twenty seconds. The hollow hole was getting bigger and bigger until it was a foot in diameter. He fully submitted his body to his inner hollow, letting his insticts take over while still retaining the majority of his personality, which has yet to be seen until after this so-called transformation completes. This hybrid reiatsu was becoming dark...what could this mean!?

The blast the Vizard had avoided zoomed passed by him, crashing into an unimportant area in the background, and what it made contact with was remodeled into a large crater. Naturally, despite being paralyzed, unable to move, and assaulted ruthlessly with attacks that could easily collapse a large building. The hybrid miraculously avoided mortal harm, and was still able to move. What was the reason for this? Where did this unpredictable, unexpected man come from? Who knew, but one thing was for sure, that was that Shishi expected everything from this individual now. He had seen it all, and nothing more would surprise him, not that it did to begin with. This fight became more and more ridiculous the longer it lasted. In fact, the battle had passed the point of absurdity ages ago. The Vizard is either extremely lucky, which no one ever really was, or he just contained more potential in his body than first realized. To make things even stranger, Shishi, himself, felt fogginess in his head, proof that aspects of Jubei’s personality were showing through. Meaning he was both coming to his senses, and coming out of his rage induced state.

When the Vizard’s body suddenly exploded with spiritual pressure, and a dome of spirit energy appeared, expanded by a meter per twenty seconds. Shishi, along with his black blade that was now free from his enemy’s hold, began walking through the air on solidified reiatsu, moving closer and closer to the Vizard. He noticed the Shinigami presence that had just arrived in the remains of Karakura town, but calmly continued walking, about to do something Shishi along would never do.

“You, half-breed, yes, you. What reason have you to help humans, or Shinigami? None, right? Am I correct? They are here, now, and as I am certain, they will come for you as well as us. You are strong, so why not join us? Why not fight them instead of us? Come now!”

Said Shishi, his voice full of amazing charisma.

As the orb of reiatsu grew, it exploded into a spiralling whirlwind of reiatsu that was green, blue, and violet. His new form was also revealed. His hollow mask was also quite altered, the indentations turned into red scorpion claws in the form of a tattoo, complete with the end of a scorpion's tail coming down from the top of the mask, forming a wide C on the forehead. He grew three tails in the shape of a scorpion's, along with darkened skin. His hair grew wild and untamed. He brandished his zanpaktou as he points it towards Jubei.

"You're correct, but don't insult me by calling me a shinigami. The only reason I came was because you were disturbing my peace, not because you killed the people here."

It was then that he also sensed the shinigami. It seems that the Espada wasn't lying.

"Join you..? Well I had an intent on killing you, but seeing as the shinigami might come and kill me also..now that I'm a hollow..I might as well stick with you. Now..we prepare."

Watching over the two battle it out, Methias' wings hammered against the air, the noise filling the area as if they were but in a cave. The battle was clearly in Shishigami's favour, he himself being the Cero Espada, it wasn't unbelievable to say the least. He was the greatest Arrancar that ever lived, and there was no way in hell a half-breed would keep up with him. No matter how much he tried to look like a hollow, he would never become one. The new form was quite impressive, however. It seemed to look like a released Arrancar, or atleast seemed to follow the same principles. Methias had never seen such a form, and although he believed himself to be strong enough to defeat it, he was glad it the Cero Espada was the one who caught the Vizard's eye's and not Methias.

Letting them continue the battle, it wasn't before long that Shishigami offered him an alliance. Apparently he and the Cero Espada had the very same thoughts wondering through their mind, the thought that he was, atleast, interesting. The new warrior also harnessed the same hatred for Shinigami as they did, although he himself clearly was once one of them. The rules of Sereitei never ceased to amaze Methias. He had heard rumors that hollowification was against the laws, yet why would those lucky enough to gain a greater power punished? Wouldn't it make more sense to have them battle alongside one another, in order to have a stronger backbone? Fools, nothing more than pridefilled fools. Their fate would be the same as that of Karakura Town. Complete and utter destruction.

Dropping from the air slightly, Methias approached the two, nodding towards Shishigami and the new ally. All three of them were capable in their own rights, and because of that, Methias had the lingering thought that victory was amongst them. Not one to be caught up in the moment, he simply waited, feeling other presences in the area. They too would meet the same fate as the Shinigami, if not allied with the Espada, they would die. This was only the beginning, but the beginning of the end.

(Sleepy, close to bedtime post, so not all that good, and rather rushed. Despite that, I think the first paragraph is actually one of the best things I have wrote in quite some time.)


Few things in existence retain consistency to this very day, but even so, every manner of creature still strives for a higher evolution and growth, a greater transcendence or ascendance. This can be seen in the Shinigami, who from the desire to break free of their natural limits, obtain the powers of a hollow. Then, the hollowfied Shinigami seek an even greater power, possibly evolving into something even more. Despite the nearly unlimited potential of this development, the Shinigami forbade such a practice even if it would assist them in their eternal duty to protect a balance untouchable and unseeable that might not even exist at all. These ignorant beings reason that to gain hollow powers is the highest of crimes, no doubt a misconceived conception born from adhering to the ridiculous rules and laws they abide by with neither question nor opposition. That is one logical explanation, why the Soul Society always has trouble dealing with the Arrancar, who willing shatter their limits by breaking the mask restraining their potential. Such great folly, they must all inherent from their former, human lives.

On the personal opinion of the Shinigami, Shishi believed they were incredibly foolish, so much that it angered him. Then again, he was always angry anyways. That said it really did not matter who did what to whom. In fact, if his rage could be formed into actual power, then that power would become an unstoppable, unlimited supply of energy. No one knew the deepest depths of such a thing, only he possibly could fathom himself. Regardless of anything, this man was rather interesting, one could say. Shishi, however, did not care how interesting anything was, just so long as it was destroyed. He wanted this man, who pointed his blade toward him, to die like all the others. Even though that was as true as true gets, a logical sense took over telling him that they should deal with the Shinigami first.

“You are apparently deaf, as I do not recall ever referring to you as a Shinigami. That aside, you need not worry of such a thing, there will be plenty of time for killing each other later. Believe me, I have unfinished business with you, but that will have to wait. Let us prepare … they will be here soon, no doubt.”
